Workshop on Web Multimedia Verification (#WeMuV2015)

MAVEN contributed to the organization of the Workshop on Web Multimedia Verification (#WeMuV2015), held in conjunction with the 2015 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME), that took place in Torino (Italy) on 29th June 2015. The organizers were Symeon Papadopoulos, from CERTH-ITI (Greece), Alan Hanjalic from TU Delft (the Netherlands), Mauro Barni and Alessandro Piva that represented MAVEN as CNIT members.

The WeMuV workshop was held in conjunction with the ICME conference. It was supported by various FP7 Projects, including MAVEN, and featured presentations from MAVEN participants.

In addition, Alessandro Piva (CNIT) presented the paper “Unsupervised fusion for forgery localization exploiting background information”, by P. Ferrara, M. Fontani, T. Bianchi, A. De Rosa, A. Piva, M. Barni, with the acknowledgement to the MAVEN project (Figure 4).

MAVEN at the ICME 2015

Javier Sánchez from Gradiant and Alessandro Piva from CNIT presented the MAVEN tools and the demonstration application at the 2015 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME
2015) that took place in Torino, Italy from June 29 to July 3, 2015.

The IEEE International Conference on Multimedia & Expo has
been the flagship multimedia conference sponsored by four IEEE
societies since 2000. It serves as a forum to promote the exchange of
the latest advances in multimedia technologies, systems, and
applications from both the research and development perspectives of the
circuits and systems, communications, computer, and signal processing
communities. ICME also features an Exposition of multimedia products and
prototypes.

MAVEN will be presented at the ICME 2015

 The 2015 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME
2015) will be held in Torino, Italy from June 29 to July 3, 2015. Javier Sánchez from Gradiant and Alessandro Piva from CNIT will be there to present the MAVEN tools and the demonstration application developed to show their functionality.
